L'instant Magic Perfume by Guerlain, Perfumer Randa Hammami developed L'instant Magic, which first hit the market in 2007. The fragrance includes a variety of notes, specifically musk, cedar, sandalwood, almond, rose, freesia and bergamot.
This perfume comes from the Guerlain brand, which has been making fragrances since 1828. The company became famous for its unique blend called Guerlinade. While the exact formula remains a secret, it includes vanilla, bergamot and the tonka bean. Five straight generations of Guerlains developed perfumes for the company, ending with Jean-Paul. He officially retired in 2002 but still continued to make fragrances for the brand. The company was family-owned for 166 years before being sold to Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, now known as Lvmh, in 1994. In 2008, Thierry Wasser took over as house perfumer, a role he still has today. Like his predecessors, he is known for traveling around the world to find rare raw materials to use in his fragrances.
